We're happy to announce that Krypton Comics placed second in the Will Eisner Awards at the San Diego ComiCon! Make sure to check the video submission we made for them under the commercials section.
VisualEyez has also been helping out on an independent film called Bert. You can find out more about this project on the official page as it's updated at Bert The Movie. It's been keeping us really busy, and some more good news is that there are two more films we'll be working on in the next couple months. Check back for more!

Happy to say that the North Sea Films animation is in its final stage of sound, so we'll get that up for you to check out soon. If Ok Go is happy with the live video, we'll also get that up along with some other live music videos we've been working on.
With these projects complete, we'll be working more on the ideas for a Statistics music video, as well as trying to get a penciler for the ever delayed "Defying Gravity" comic book.
Peoples' schedules seem to have prevented much more work on the films I've mentioned, but we hope to remedy that over this summer and get back to work!

I'm happy to announce that we've just spent 4 days working on an independent film called "twelveleven" written by our very own Erica Tremblay. The film takes place in various midwest towns, and we began by shooting in her hometown, Seneca, Missouri and surrounding areas. We really appreciate the help of Erica's friend Micah, without whom our shoot would have been nearly impossible. We also want to thank Erica's family for everything they did during our shoot.
We hope to begin shooting another independent film this summer, this one written by another good friend, Trevor Hudson. It's a comedy titled "Out of the Blocks," and it's so hilarious, we can't wait to get started so we have some stuff for you to get an insight into his crazy sense of humor.
Also, with nearly all of the props and models ready to go, our claymation team, Ran Cummings and myself, will begin the North Sea Films logo animation tomorrow, and hope to finish filming by March 22nd. Then I'm off to follow Nine Inch Nails on their pre-tour.
Another exciting tidbit is Chicago band OK Go allowed us permission to film their recent show at Sokol Underground, and were even nice enough to throw our whole crew on the guestlist, so I want to give them a big thanks!

In the process of working up a stop-motion animation for fellow Omaha production company, Dana Altman's North Sea Films. Check back to see what we've come up with!
Sorry to say that the '89 Cubs video has been scratched. We'll be trying to fill the empty production slot with a video for The Statistics upcoming release, "Statistics Often Lie."
We've also been working up something cool with the guys from Krypton Comics, as well as a couple feature length scripts. Look for more info on those soon.
Look for new live videos from the likes of Coast of Nebraska, Statistics, and Thee Shams this spring/summer. Beyond that, who knows, but we do hope to have a larger selection of bands over the course of the year.
